Men Under Pressure™ — private coaching for men navigating life’s pressures

Men Under Pressure™ is NewtonSquared’s confidential, non-clinical private coaching programme for men carrying significant pressure in their work, business, family, relationships or personal lives. It offers a practical, structured space to think clearly, understand what is driving the pressure and make grounded decisions about what comes next.

If life feels like it’s shifting under your feet, you don’t need more noise. You need space to think, steadiness, and a way forward.

Whether you’re dealing with divorce, redundancy, stress, sleeplessness, burnout, or a major life change, I offer a calm, grounded conversation to help you make sense of what’s happening and decide what comes next.

This is primarily coaching. Where helpful, I may also draw on lived experience and offer a mentoring perspective from my own experience of redundancy, divorce, business failure, and other high-pressure transitions.

  • You may be functioning on the surface while carrying far too much alone.

  • You may be dealing with a career shift, separation, financial pressure, identity loss, burnout, responsibility, or a decision that feels too consequential to get wrong.

  • You do not need to solve everything in one conversation. You need space to understand what is happening and decide the next workable step.

What I help with

I work with men who are:

  • Going through divorce or separation.

  • Facing redundancy or career uncertainty.

  • Struggling with stress, overwhelm, or poor sleep.

  • Feeling stuck, flat, or disconnected.

  • Carrying a lot privately and not wanting to burden those around them.

  • Trying to work out how to move forward without losing themselves in the process.

What the Reset Programme offers

Three men smiling and giving thumbs up at an indoor event, with one man on the left wearing a polo shirt and a jacket, the man in the center with curly hair, and the man on the right with glasses and a name tag, standing in front of a large potted plant.
  • A structured 15-session programme.

  • Space for practical and personal rebuilding.

  • Support for clarity, confidence, routines, energy, connection, work direction, money and practical foundations.

  • Appropriate signposting and referral where specialist, therapeutic, legal, financial, health, or safeguarding support is needed.

Who it is for / not for

  • For men ready to engage honestly and take manageable action.

  • Not a crisis service, substitute for therapy, clinical mental-health treatment, legal advice or financial advice.

How it works

This is not therapy, and it is not a generic life coaching session.

Four men smiling and looking at the camera inside an elevator, with one man in the front making a peace sign. The photo is mostly black and white, except for one man wearing a yellow shirt and blue hat, who is in color.
  • Initial private conversation.

  • Agree suitability and goals.

  • A tailored 15-session Reset Programme, with a pace and focus appropriate to the client.

  • Optional standalone clarity sessions where a full programme is not the right fit.

Why Me

A man with a beard and gray hair wearing a black jacket and a gray beanie sits at a table with a cup of soda in a cafe or restaurant with a white brick wall background.

I’m not coming at this from theory alone…

I’ve been through multiple redundancies, unfair dismissal, divorce, business failure, and other periods of pressure and uncertainty. I know what it feels like when life is demanding a lot of you at once, and you still have to keep showing up.

Alongside that lived experience, I bring years of leadership, commercial, and coaching experience. That means I can meet you with empathy, but also with structure, honesty, and practical insight.

What You Can Expect

Three men smiling at an outdoor event, with colorful tents and a building in the background. One man is wearing a black cap and a black graphic t-shirt, the second man is in a striped shirt and sunglasses, and the third man has a black shirt with a holographic design and a baseball cap.

A typical conversation may help you:

  • Name what’s really going on.

  • Reduce mental clutter and emotional noise.

  • Work through a difficult decision.

  • Explore options you may not have considered.

  • Leave with more calm, clarity, and direction.

Important note

This is coaching, not therapy, counselling, or medical advice.
